The Research Management Intern will be based in the Technology, Climate Change, and Natural Resource Management Division (TCND) of the ECA. Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis: The intern will compile comprehensive datasets of members affiliated with the Alliance of Entrepreneurial Universities and startups operating within universities and innovation hubs across Africa. This will involve researching and gathering information on key stakeholders, including contact details, areas of expertise, and resources available. The intern will also analyze the data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges relevant to the objectives of the Alliance and Origin platforms.
Event Coordination: The intern will assist in the planning, organization, and logistics of workshops, panels, webinars, and other events hosted by the Alliance and Origin. This will include coordinating invitations, registrations, and participant profiles, as well as liaising with speakers, sponsors, and partners. The intern will also provide on-site support during events, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently.
Content Development: The intern will play a key role in developing and disseminating engaging content to keep members of the Alliance and Origin informed and engaged. Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

Be currently enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (second university degree or higher).
Be currently enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of an undergraduate program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

In addition, candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:

Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret data from various sources.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in English is required, while knowledge of an additional official UN language is advantageous.
